Maurits C. Kuipers Msc MSRE MRICS is founder of MC CAPITAL and he is a lecturer in Real Estate Asset Management at Hogeschool van Amsterdam / Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
Maurits is an experienced Commercial Real Estate Professional with more than seventeen years of (international) experience in acquisitions, portfolio- and asset management. Maurits worked for the companies: ING Real Estate Development, Aberdeen Property Investors Europe and BNP Paribas Real Estate. In his career, in the real estate sector, he has sold many, large scale, real estate (development) objects to (institutional) investors, such as "Freshfields House" at Amsterdam South-Axes and the shopping centers "Villa Arena" in Amsterdam, "Spuimarkt" in The Hague and "Stadshagen" in Zwolle. Maurits managed (international) real estate portfolios with offices, retail and logistics and a portfolio of nine Dutch (law) courts. For private- and institutional- investors Maurits acquired retail, offices and logistics in various European countries.
In the year 2012 Maurits finished his Master in Real Estate (MSRE) at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate with the thesis: “the demands of lessees for sustainable office buildings". In the year 2015 Maurits finished a (post-doc) Master of Science (Msc) in Real Estate Investment Management.
Maurits is a generalist and an enterprising and energetic person. His main strengths are organization, presentation, negotiation, persuasion and preserving long-term (business) relationships. Sustainability is an important part of his life. During the years 2007-2013 he was, as a volunteer, active as Chairman of the organization: “Fur for Animals” (in dutch: “Bont voor Dieren”). Large successes have been achieved in animal welfare by (political) lobbying and by providing information to the public.
Maurits is an experienced and well-trained marathon-runner and he has been a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) since the year 2009.
